Maria Mesas Productions is more than pleased to announce their U.S. Premier of PYTHONESS directed and written by Jacinta Molina in the Independent Film Festival of New York . The screening will be in the back wall of the Museum of Contemporary Arts. It will be displayed outdoors, in high definition with special sound. Things are not working well for URSULA, 24, after one year of living by herself she will have to come back to her grandmother's old apartment. Ursula was raised by her grandmother, MIMO, 63, as result of a divorce between her parents who were young when they happen to have a child.
Ursula's friends plan a party to cheer her up in celebration of her 23 birthday. As a surprise element, one of them invites a luxury fortuneteller who has a well-known reputation for her accurate predictions. The pythoness, SARA, 42 is making a round of predictions for all Ursula's friends but, when Ursula's turn comes, the woman stops the reading and hands Ursula one her presentation cards and invites Ursula to a private reading. The story develops while Ursula experiences a lot of anxiety and discovers what is really behind her present. When she finally has her future read she is shock by the revelation. Her life depends upon some past happenings related to her parents.
Her future, the pythoness says, could be short. She has to solve a number of mysteries in order to avoid DEATH.
